Are you an experienced and passionate Social Worker ready to make a difference in the lives of children and families? We are looking for a skilled Assessment Social Worker to join a committed team in Reigate, supporting the Family Safeguarding, Corporate Parenting, and Family Resilience services. In this role, youll work in partnership with families and communities to promote childrens welfare and ensure their safety.

Key Responsibilities:
- Caseload Management: Handle diverse and complex caseloads, performing assessments, reviews, and preparing court reports when necessary.
- Family-Centred Approach: Engage families in assessment and planning, building SMART plans that identify strengths, needs, and risks to ensure childrens well-being.
- Safeguarding: Conduct child protection investigations and work collaboratively with families to create plans that reduce risk and support safe, family-based care.
- Partnership Collaboration: Work alongside local agencies, including health, education, and legal services, to deliver a high standard of integrated support.
- Record Keeping: Maintain up-to-date and accurate case records, assessments, and plans in line with professional standards.

About You:
Qualifications: Professional Social Work qualification (CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent) and HCPC registration.
Experience: Proven experience in statutory social work, particularly with children and young people in need of safeguarding.
Skills: Strong communication, report writing, and risk assessment skills; ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism and empathy.
Knowledge: Up-to-date understanding of UK childcare laws, statutory guidance, and best practices like motivational interviewing.
