An exciting opportunity has emerged for an experienced social worker to work in Midlothian.
We are seeking an individual with a deep commitment to achieving the best outcomes for protected children, ready to make a positive impact.
This contract is for a minimum of 3 months, offering a competitive hourly rate and is duty based.
Your responsibilities will be, but are not limited to:
- Conducting assessments and reviews to ensure the safety and wellbeing of children and young people
- Developing and implementing care plans
- Providing support and guidance to children, families, and carers
- Collaborating with multi agency teams to deliver effective interventions
- Maintaining accurate and uptodate case records
Requirements:
- Member of the PVG scheme
- Degree in Social Work or equivalent
- Member of the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC)
- Experience working with children and families
