Responsibilities:

  • Work with children and young people towards making sure their care plans are progressed
  • Promote support time with family members when safe to do so and help the children and young people understand their experiences and why they became cared for
  • Work with the resource workers who help social workers within the team complete the Life Story for the local authorities children and young people.


To be considered for a role within the Children in our Care Team, ideally you will have:

  • BSc in Social Work or equivalent
  • Social Work England registration
  • At least 1 year of experience within a similar children's social work setting
