About Us:
Randstad is delighted to be recruiting for the Families and Children's Team (FACT) in Northumberland.
We are looking for a committed and skilled Social Worker to work with children, young people, and their families, ensuring their safety and well-being while supporting them through challenging circumstances.

Job Description:
As a FACT Social Worker, you will manage a varied caseload of children and families, undertaking assessments and delivering interventions aimed at safeguarding and promoting positive outcomes.
You will work in partnership with families and multi-agency professionals to provide tailored support and improve the well-being of vulnerable children and young people.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of children and families to identify needs, risks, and strengths.
  • Develop and implement care and support plans that ensure the safety, health, and well-being of children.
  • Work collaboratively with families and external agencies, including health and education, to provide a holistic approach to care.
  • Provide emotional and practical support to families to help them build resilience and positive change.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with statutory requirements and professional standards.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.
  • Strong knowledge of child protection procedures, safeguarding legislation, and family support practices.
  • Excellent assessment, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage a complex caseload while meeting deadlines and statutory requirements.
