Social Worker
Location: South East England
HBC7/8 Grade, Full-time role


Myn is recruiting on behalf of our long-term client in the South East of England for a dedicated Social Worker. Main Responsibilities

Manage a caseload of children and families, offering support and guidance to improve their lives.
Conduct thorough assessments in line with legislation, policies, and procedures.
Work with children and young people to ensure their needs and voices are central to care plans.
Coordinate and commission services to provide tailored support for families.
Collaborate with partners through statutory and planned meetings, ensuring the best outcomes for children.


Key Duties

Develop intervention plans that truly reflect the needs of children and young people.
Maintain accurate, up-to-date records and comply with all administrative and financial procedures.
Support social work students through guidance and development.
Regularly liaise with your line manager and engage in professional development opportunities.
Participate in the team's duty rota, ensuring all tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.

Strong experience in managing a caseload within children's services.
Excellent communication skills, with a focus on ensuring childrens participation in their care.
Ability to work effectively with a range of partners and agencies.
A commitment to continuous professional development and reflective practice.
