Randstad are recruiting for a Qualified Social Worker to join Knowsley Council's Court team. This is a full time role offering an amazing pay rate of £35 - £40 per hour, DOE.

Responsibilities:

  • You manage a complex caseload.
  • You will manage complex dynamics for children and their families within a 26 week timescale.
  • You will develop plans, progress permanency, work well in a multi-agency setting and ensure that statements, assessments and recording is of a good quality.
  • You will produce a good standard of report writing and be able to give evidence in court.
  • You will have experience of managing looked after children and children with CP plans.
  • You will have experience of undertaking viability assessment and writing court reports.
  • You will only hold cases within care proceedings (and a few supervision orders) and cases going to adoption.
  • You will have court experience, knowledge and be able to write court reports, undertake parenting assessment and work with children placed with their parents, other family members or in our care.

Requirements:

  • Social Work Degree or equivalent
  • Current registration with Social Work England
  • Enhanced DBS

Experience:

  • Children.
