Children's Social Worker

Responsibilities

- Work with and oversee children, young people, and families referred to children's social care.

- Conduct visits and progress child protection plans where needed and undertake initial court work.

- Direct work with children and young people to understand their lived experiences.

- Collaborate with children, families and agency professionals to produce meaningful assessments of children's needs.

Requirements

  • Degree in Social Work or equivalent
  • Registered with Social Work England
  • Experience in a similar setting working with children and families
