Responsibilities
- Work with children and families to ensure children's safety and well-being.
- Collaborate with families to support positive changes.
- Progress cases to court if safety measures are not successful, with some children entering local authority care.
- Develop looked-after care plans for children in local authority care, potentially leading to adoption.
- Provide ongoing support to children until they are settled with adoptive families.
- Address risks outside the home.
- Support parents with unmet needs for their unborn children.
Requirements
- Degree in Social Work or equivalent
- Registered with Social Work England
- Experience in a similar setting working with children and families
