Are you a dedicated and qualified social worker with a passion for safeguarding children and ensuring their well-being?
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced social worker to work in the beautiful area of Moray!
We are looking for someone with a strong commitment to ensuring the best outcomes for protected children, who is ready to work in an office environment and make a positive difference.
This contract is for a minimum of 3 months and offers a competitive hourly rate. The role is duty based and within the area team.
Your responsibilities will be, but are not limited to:
- Conducting assessments and reviews to ensure the safety and wellbeing of children and young people
- Developing and implementing care plans
- Providing support and guidance to children, families, and carers
- Collaborating with multi agency teams to deliver effective interventions
- Maintaining accurate and uptodate case records
Requirements:
- Degree in Social Work or equivalent
- Child Protection qualification
- VRI training
- Member of the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC)
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work flexibly, under direction and independently where necessary
- Member of the PVG scheme
