Myn is recruiting on behalf of our long-term client in the South East of England for an experienced Social Worker to support children in care and care leavers. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable young people.
The Role You will:
- Advocate for children and young people in care, ensuring their voices are heard and their needs are met.
- Work with multi-agency teams, families, and carers to develop and deliver tailored support plans.
- Guide and support care leavers as they transition into adulthood, providing advice and practical assistance.
- Conduct assessments, create care plans, and review cases, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
- Uphold safeguarding measures and legal frameworks to promote the well-being of children and young people.
- Qualified Social Worker with an active HCPC/SWE registration.
- At least 3 years of experience working in a similar team.
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding, care planning, and multi-agency working.
- Passion for improving the lives of children in care and care leavers.
