As a .NET Developer, you'll play a key role in the development of cutting-edge, mission-critical applications for a growing customer base. What You'll Do:

  • Lead Development Projects: Design and implement user-facing features and server-side functionality for sophisticated applications.
  • Build for the Future: Create reusable, efficient code and libraries that will be leveraged across multiple projects.
  • Ensure Seamless UX/UI: Collaborate with designers to ensure technical feasibility and optimize applications for speed, scalability, and performance.
  • Innovate and Test: Conduct rigorous developer testing and validation to ensure the highest quality software.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders to deliver exceptional solutions.

What We're Looking For:
To succeed in this role, you should bring:

  • 5+ years of experience in software development.
  • Strong .NET development skills using C#.
  • Expertise in UI development with WPF, XAML, and MVVM.
  • Solid experience with Entity Framework Core and API design.
  • A deep understanding of database development techniques.
  • Familiarity with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and design principles.
  • Proficiency with version control systems like Git or Team Foundation VC.
  • Experience writing unit tests and other testing frameworks.
  • Azure experience (preferred, but not essential).

Bonus Skills:

  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD using Azure DevOps.
  • Knowledge of Web Servers (IIS), Windows Server, and Active Directory.

Additional Information:

  • This role is based in Kendal, and candidates must be able to commute to the office for the first 6 months. After this period, flexible working options may be available.
  • Candidates must currently reside within an hour's drive of Kendal and have the legal right to work in the UK.
