Role: .NET Developer

As a .NET Developer, you'll play a key role in the development of cutting-edge, mission-critical applications for a growing customer base. What You'll Do:
- Lead Development Projects: Design and implement user-facing features and server-side functionality for sophisticated applications.
- Build for the Future: Create reusable, efficient code and libraries that will be leveraged across multiple projects.
- Ensure Seamless UX/UI: Collaborate with designers to ensure technical feasibility and optimize applications for speed, scalability, and performance.
- Innovate and Test: Conduct rigorous developer testing and validation to ensure the highest quality software.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders to deliver exceptional solutions.
What We're Looking For:
To succeed in this role, you should bring:
- 5+ years of experience in software development.
- Strong .NET development skills using C#.
- Expertise in UI development with WPF, XAML, and MVVM.
- Solid experience with Entity Framework Core and API design.
- A deep understanding of database development techniques.
- Familiarity with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and design principles.
- Proficiency with version control systems like Git or Team Foundation VC.
- Experience writing unit tests and other testing frameworks.
- Azure experience (preferred, but not essential).
Bonus Skills:
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD using Azure DevOps.
- Knowledge of Web Servers (IIS), Windows Server, and Active Directory.
Additional Information:
- This role is based in Kendal, and candidates must be able to commute to the office for the first 6 months. After this period, flexible working options may be available.
- Candidates must currently reside within an hour's drive of Kendal and have the legal right to work in the UK.
