C++, Java, Kotlin, Algo, Crypto, Start-up

We are working with a Crypto-native risk monitoring and market surveillance company backed by a major investment bank. At it's core, the company develops tools to detect market manipulation and fraud in cryptocurrency trading, offers real-time market surveillance and risk monitoring solutions and helps crypto businesses comply with regulatory requirements.

We are looking for developers strong in one of Java, Kotlin or C++ with prior experience in either algo trading or Crypto to work on a range of projects across the business, owning deliverables and guiding the firms' technology strategy.

This is a fully remote role for UK-based candidates only. This role does not offer visa sponsorship.

Requirements:

- Excellent C++, Java or Kotlin programming skills. We are ideally looking for candidates in the 4-10 year experience range, but flexibility can be shown for highly relevant applicants

- Extensive experience and understanding of either algo trading or the Crypto trading space. Candidates will need have evident experience of at least one of these to be considered

- Clear communication skills and the ability to work autonomously with various stakeholders within a financial services company

Optional:

- Distributed systems experience

- C# or Python

- Master's degree in Computer Science

- Prior experience in trade surveillance
