Cedar are supporting a Procurement Consultancy who are looking to hire a Procurement Consultant for a specialist Clinical/Healthcare requirements. This is a permanent job opportunity offering a salary range of £55,000 up to £65,000 per annum plus a range of benefits. This role will be primarily home based but will require travel to meet with key clients assigned when required.
The successful candidate will work with a range of clients and support the end to end delivery of a range procurement projects relating to Clinical/Healthcare Services. Support provided to key clients will vary in size and value but will cover various elements of the procurement process which include areas such as; Category Management, Opportunity Assessment, Delivering Savings, Contract Management, SRM etc. The successful candidate will also work as part of the wider Consultancy team internally and help with development of internal staff and other internal requirements i.e. best practice, knowledge sharing, proposals.
Candidates applying MUST HAVE:
- Ideally hold MCIPS qualification or working towards or other relevant degree and experience
- Experience working in a Procurement and/or Category Manager role in the Public Sector covering Clinical/Healthcare Services
- Previous experience working for a Procurement/Management Consultancy would be advantageous
- Strong Stakeholder Management and Communication skills
