Are you a proactive and organised professional looking for an exciting new challenge? Our client in North Somerset is seeking a dynamic Business Support Officer with practical HR experience to join their busy and successful operation! This hands-on management support role will see you working closely with the MD and the wider management team to ensure smooth and efficient operations across the company.

The Role

In this varied role, you'll be at the heart of the company's operations, providing essential support that keeps everything running smoothly. With the nature of the firms business, your role is likely to evolve, so a flexible approach is key. Key duties include:
  • PA Support:Assist the MD with day-to-day organisational tasks.
  • HR Administration:Handle staff communications and other HR administrative tasks.
  • Project Support:Work on projects across two sites, including staff liaison and creating organisational charts.
  • Minute Taking:Record minutes for Health and Safety meetings.
  • Recruitment Support:Review CVs, prepare job offers for new recruits, and support the recruitment process.
  • Reporting:Gather and report on facts and findings to support decision-making.
The Person

We are looking for an experienced Business Support professional with PA/EA skills who has a proactive and decisive approach. The ideal candidate will be:
  • A People Person:Able to provide effective support to the MD and wider team.
  • Trustworthy and Dependable:Someone the team can rely on.
  • Organised and Efficient:Keen to make a difference with supreme organisational skills.
  • Detail-Oriented:Accurate with an eye for detail, confident with figures and reporting.
  • Excellent Communicator:Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Additional Requirements

Initially, you will be based between two sites that are geographically close, so you will need to have a driver's licence and your own transport.
