Are you ready to tackle one of the most urgent challenges of our time? Were looking for a dedicated Carbon Specialist to join our team in London, contributing to the accurate tracking, research, and application of carbon data for impactful sustainability solutions. This role involves a hands-on approach to sourcing, processing, and presenting supply chain emissions data directly into customer-facing products. Youll have the opportunity to work with a team that views the climate challenge as a unique opportunity to drive meaningful change within the global economy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Calculate supply chain emissions using client data, internal systems, and emissions databases.
  • Research carbon emissions data from both public and private sources.
  • Prepare and present product and corporate carbon footprints, with a focus on sectors such as metals, mining, energy, and chemicals.
  • Enhance our carbon foot printing methodology to improve accuracy and relevance.
  • Work closely with the product team to refine internal data sourcing, processing, and management processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years in a sustainability or carbon-accounting role, ideally within metals, minerals, petrochemicals, or energy sectors.
  • Proficiency in carbon accounting, preferably in Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) or Product Carbon Footprints (PCFs).
  • Familiarity with supply chains in the metals, minerals, or energy sectors.
  • Knowledge of emissions standards and frameworks (e.g., GHG Protocol, ISO 14040, ISO 14067).
  • Background in sustainability strategy and science-based target setting is a plus.
  • Fluency in English required; additional language skills are a bonus.

  • Must have the right to work in the UK.
  • Ability to work onsite in our London office at least 3 days a week.
