Branch/Product Merchandiser

London - 4 days a week in the office

Salary - up to £45,000 DOE

I am working with a luxury apparel and accessories retailer looking for a Branch Merchandiser to join their team.

It will be a hybrid style role, covering both Branch Merchandising (70%) and Core Product Merchandising (30%) across Menswear and Womenswear.

The role:

  • Plan stores sales at a category level alongside the Head of Merchandising.
  • Create ranges for each store by selecting looks based on historical sales data, customer profiling matrix & Store Manager feedback.
  • Work closely with the Visual Merchandiser to decide store layouts and focus, on a monthly basis.
  • React to in-season sales performance and propose actions to capitalise on sales.
  • Forecast sales at seasonal and category level.
  • Build ranges working alongside the Design team with your focus being buy budgets and historical data.
  • In season trading focusing on the best and worst styles, collaborate with all teams within the business to optimise or improve performance.
  • Manage promotions and sales.
  • Control stock levels within the business - forecasting, critical path deadlines, shipment dates.

They are looking for:

  • Someone who has a strong background in Branch Merchandising - either an Assistant Merchandiser who is ready for a step up or an already established Merchandiser looking for a new challenge.
  • A strong knowledge in apparel planning, merchandising and forecasting.
  • Excellent excel skills.
  • Someone who ideally has a background in the Premium or Luxury market.
  • Someone who is comfortable and has experience working cross functionally and across all seniorities.
