We are looking for a creative and highly organised Design Assistant to join a dynamic fashion design team. In this role, you will support the design department in creating and delivering innovative, trend-driven collections across multiple product categories.
Reporting into the Senior Designer, we are looking for someone who is a great communicator, hungry to learn and progress with a creative eye.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to develop their skills in the fashion industry and contribute to the success of well-established retail brands.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist Designers in the creation of seasonal collections, from initial concept to final product.
  • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, fabrics, colours, and design techniques.
  • Create and update technical sketches, CADs, and design boards.
  • Successfully manage the critical path.
  • Help prepare design presentations for meetings.
  • Support the development of product samples, including tracking, organising, and communicating with suppliers and manufacturers.
  • Assist with ad hoc and provide general administration support.

Personal Specifications:

  • Degree in Fashion Design or a related field.
  • Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
  • A keen eye for detail and passion for fashion and design.
  • Previous experience or internships in a fashion design environment is a plus.
