Transport Planner
Bristol, occasional site travel
£30,000 - £50,000 DOE + Bonus + Employee Owned + Package + Hybrid + Training + Progression to Director

This is a great opportunity for a motivated Transport Planner to join a well established yet growing consultancy, where you will get exposure to a plethora of different projects all whilst having consistent training and clear progression up to director level.

This planning consultancy are currently experienced a great period of growth, with a full workbook currently. As specialists in sustainability-focused projects across multiple disciplines, they have been recognised for their outstanding service through receiving multiple awards. This consultancy provides it expertise across a mixture of sector to a diverse range of clientele. Which is part of the reason of the period of growth and with them recently becoming an Employee Ownership Trust (EOT), which provides a unique chance to assist the future growth of the business that rewards everyone for their service & contribution.

In this role you will take on a number of responsibilities which may differ to the level of your experience. These responsibilities will include managing multiple projects of your own from start to finish, where you will be constantly liaising with the clients and the in-house teams. As well as that you will be responsible for completing transport assessments, statements and site access appraisals. You will also be responsible for writing reports for both colleague and clients. This role contains a lot of variety and is a great opportunity for to gain valuable experience from talented team members.

Therefore, the ideal candidate will be someone with some previous experience within the transportation/highways sector ideally working on development planning, who has previous CAD experience to be able to hit the ground running, and holds a full UK drivers license will be useful to travel to the different sites when needed.

The Person:

  • Transport Planner
  • Some Previous experience working on transportation and/or highways - ideally working on development planning
  • Previous Cad experience
  • Commutable distance to their office in Bristol
