Good afternoon,
I hope this email finds you well.
We are seeking 1:1 intervention/reintegration teachers and tutors who are able to work either during school hours, after school hours and weekends in and around Southwark
During school hours tuition is for young people who have been excluded from school, or have SEND, or for children who are new to the borough (including unaccompanied asylum seeking children). Most of these children are hard to reach pupils, therefore experience with disengaged learners is an advantage.
After school hours and weekend tuition is for young people with gaps in their learning in preparation for their exams (SATs, GCSEs and Functional Skills).
Tutors can either be subject speciailists in English, Maths, Science, SEND, ESOL, Functional Skills or confident in teaching both numeracy and literacy to Primary through to low ability Key Stage 4 students.
What we look for in a tutor:
* Qualified to degree level or substantial experience providing learning support.
* Flexibility and adaptability.
* Integritiy.
* Passionate about promoting educational outcome of pupils.
Hours for tuition can be flexible to suit your schedule.
If you would be interested, please kindly respond to this email. I shall contact successful candidates with further details about the opportunity.
