We have partnered with a reputable organisation in the commercial property and asset management sector, is seeking an experienced Procurement & Utilities Manager. This role is pivotal in ensuring the effective procurement and management of utilities and service contracts across the companys managed portfolio.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the procurement and placement of utilities contracts, ensuring adherence to key performance indicators (KPIs) such as securing competitive pricing and selecting green suppliers.
  • Assisting the surveying team with the procurement and placement of various service contracts, including cleaning, security, and landscaping services.
  • Collaborating with surveying and facilities teams to manage supplier performance and ensure compliance with contractual KPIs.
  • Facilitating dispute resolution and managing supplier relationships to maintain strong partnerships.
  • Ensuring all service partners and suppliers meet required insurance and qualification standards.
  • Managing supplier registration and ensuring compliance with contractor validation processes.
  • Contributing to the preparation and delivery of reports related to ESG, utilities, procurement, and contract management.
  • Conducting regular KPI review meetings with service partners in coordination with clients and the property team.
  • Assisting in risk mitigation strategies in response to current market trends.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Proficient in IT with strong data management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with internal teams and external partners.
  • Strong written communication skills for client reporting.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Solid industry knowledge in the procurement of utilities and service agreements.

Experience:

  • Proven experience in commercial property management or a similar procurement role.
