Are you a dedicated and experienced Social Worker with a passion for supporting children and families? We're looking for a skilled professional to join our long-time Partner's team in Woking. This is an excellent opportunity to work within the Family Resilience, Safeguarding, and Corporate Parenting services, supporting children and young people to reach their full potential.
What Youll Do:
Case Management: Take responsibility for a varied caseload, providing relationship-based social work services to children and families.
Assessment & Planning: Conduct assessments to identify family strengths, risks, and needs, developing SMART plans to support childrens welfare.
Safeguarding: Engage in child protection investigations and work collaboratively with families to develop plans that ensure childrens safety.
Partnership Work: Collaborate with agencies, fostering strong relationships with legal services, healthcare, education, and other partners.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate case records in line with practice standards, ensuring documentation is up-to-date and comprehensive.
About You:
Qualifications: Professional Social Work qualification (CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent) and HCPC registration.
Experience: Substantial experience in assessing and working directly with children and families in a statutory setting.
Knowledge: Up-to-date knowledge of UK childcare laws, statutory guidance, and the Working Together 2018 framework.
Skills: Excellent communication, report-writing, and assessment skills; ability to manage challenging situations and build positive relationships.
Other Requirements: DBS clearance, and willingness to travel across the county as needed.
