Your new companyA successful manufacturing company in Portadown who design and manufacture top quality products to supply globally. Due to new contracts they have a requirement to increase the Maintenance Team.Your new roleAs a Mig Welder you will inspect and assess structures for damages requiring welding repairs. Interpret blueprints, sketches, or specifications to determine the required method and sequence of welding operations. Use various welding techniques to repair and maintain equipment and structures. Test and inspect welded surfaces and structures to ensure conformance to specifications. Maintain welding tools and equipment to ensure they are in good working order. Perform preventative maintenance tasksand identify potential issues before they lead to serious problemsDays Mon - Fri. Flexible with start and finish times.What you'll need to succeedIdeally you will have 4 years plus experience. Proficiency in handling electrical/manual tools and welding machinery. Familiarity with safety standards in welding. Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. Good communication skills. Good eye to detail. Strong problem solver.What you'll get in return
