Cedar are supporting a Public Sector organisation who are looking to hire a Head of Contract & Supplier Relationship Management. This is a Fixed Term Contract position that will run for 18-Months (potential to go permanent) with a salary range up to £80,000 on offer plus additional benefits/perks i.e. Car Allowance (£6,600). This role will operate mainly from home but given the level of responsibility may require you to be on-site in the North West c2 days every month for key meetings.

Reporting in to the Head of Procurement the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the organisation adopts best-in-class approaches to Contract Management, driving change and supporting the organisation achieve its growth targets. In this newly created role the successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and overseeing strategies that drive growth, mitigate risk, meet legislative and policy requirements and deliver outstanding service.

Candidates applying MUST HAVE:

  • MCIPS qualification or alternative comparable qualification
  • Experience working a similar role in the UK Public Sector - ideally in a role covering Contract Management and/or Supplier Relationship Management
  • Understanding of Public Sector Procurement legislation and policy
  • Strong background implementing best practice strategies
