Anderselite are seeking a dedicated and experienced Bid Writer to join our team. The Bid Writer will be responsible for producing high-quality written bids and submissions, ensuring all materials are compelling, well-structured, and tailored to client requirements.

This role involves managing the entire bid process from initial enquiry to final submission, which includes editing and proofreading materials, coordinating with various departments, and developing win strategies. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of meeting tight deadlines.

Responsibilities:

-Manage and produce PQQ/RFI and ITT/RFQ responses.
-Write bespoke content and edit existing responses to suit each tender.
-Develop a clear win strategy for each bid and ensure win themes are compelling.
-Coordinate and plan all client presentations required as part of the bid submission.
-Review and extract deliverables from tender documents.
-Collaborate with the wider team to develop compelling bid responses.
-Ensure timescales are achieved at each step of the bid process.
-Drive continuous improvement by harvesting model answers and conducting Lessons Learned sessions.
-Support the Bid Coordinator to develop their skills.

Skills
-Excellent writing and editing skills

-Effective project and time management skills
-Ability to multitask and prioritize workload
-Excellent communication skills
-Experience in bid writing, especially in construction or engineering sectors
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and PowerPoint
-Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
-Strong organizational skills
-Knowledge of tender processes and compliance requirements

Software/Tools
-Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
-Adobe InDesign (desirable)
-CRM databases
-Project management tools (e.g., MS Project)

Certifications & Standards
Understanding of Management System Standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 (desirable)
