Supervisor – Anaerobic Digestion

MC Technical Recruitment is currently looking to recruit a dedicated and experienced Anaerobic Digestion Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our anaerobic digestion plant in Knaresborough. The successful candidate will ensure optimal plant performance, manage a team of technicians, and maintain compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

As the Supervisor, you will be responsible for:

• Supervising the daily operations of the anaerobic digestion plant
• Day to day management of the AD operations staff - filling operational staffing gaps to ensure continuous operation of the AD plant
• Monitor aspects of operations to ensure plant optimisation, power generation and smooth operation of the AD plant
• Manage all aspects of AD sampling including management of 3rd party involvement
• Filling operational staffing gaps to ensure continuous operation of the AD plant
• Ensure effective logging and reporting of maintenance related issues using CMMS, highlighting priority jobs during daily production meeting
• Operational planning of outages for AD plant
• Lead, train, and manage a team of technicians and operators
• Manage and audit AD Policies, procedures, daily/weekly checks
• Ensure effective logging and reporting of maintenance related issues using CMMS, highlighting priority jobs during daily production meeting
• Other duties as required

To be considered for this role you should have:

• WAMITAB – Level 4 (Module 5, Anaerobic Digestion)
• IOSH Managing Safely Certificate or equivalent formal safety qualification
• Experience in Anaerobic Digestion process and working in the Anaerobic Digestion Industry
• Understands relevant industry, health & safety legislation
• Operational experience in Environmental Health and Safety, aspects of a Process Operation
