The role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Active Directory (AD) Engineer to join our growing End User Experience UK department. What You'll Do:
As an AD Engineer, you will:
- Lead technical delivery and provide innovative solutions aligned with our strategic roadmap.
- Support BAU Engineers with advanced troubleshooting, data analysis, and reporting for application and infrastructure environments.
- Automate server/infrastructure tasks using PowerShell to improve efficiency and audit capabilities.
- Manage and maintain Active Directory Services, including DNS, AD Federation Services (ADFS), Group Policy Objects (GPOs), and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI).
- Oversee domain controller configurations and support production, pre-production, and development environments.
- Contribute to migrations and synchronization of on-premises AD objects to Entra.
- Champion best practices, such as Role-Based Access Control and the principle of least privilege.
What You'll Bring:
- Strong expertise in Azure AD Tenant, PowerShell scripting, and API management.
- Demonstrated experience with AD disaster recovery and automation.
- Proficiency in Windows administration, Group Policy Management, DNS, WINS, and DHCP.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts effectively.
