Reed Engineering is seeking a Machinist for a permanent position in the Stirling area.
The role requires setting and operating various machines, completing documentation, and maintaining equipment.
Candidates should have a relevant engineering qualification and previous experience in a machine shop environment.
The salary for this position ranges from £29K to £32K, with working hours from Monday to Thursday 8am to 4pm and Friday 8am to 3pm.
A valid driving license is also required for this role.

Reed Engineering are working alongside our client who are looking to add a Machinist to their team on a permanent basis. You’ll be based in the Stirling area.

Hours: Monday – Thursday 8am – 4pm, Friday 8am – 3pm

Salary: £29K - £32K

Daily Duties –

Set and operate manual lathes, horizontal borers, vertical borers, and milling machines
Complete documentation, quality plans, workshop instructions and inspection records when required
Ensure all pre-safety checks are completed, and all equipment and guarding in the Machine Shop is maintained
Liaise with Engineers and Supervisors to ensure machines and equipment are repaired and serviced
Keep machine and work area clean and ensuring tools and equipment returned after use

Candidate Requirements –

Time-served and relevant engineering qualification
Previous experience within a machine shop environment
Driving Licence
