We are hiring a motivated and skilled Forklift Driver to join our client, a leading beverage wholesaler in Alloa. This role encompasses a variety of tasks within a warehouse environment, with a primary focus on the safe operation of a forklift.

What you will get in your new role

The position offers a competitive salary of 14 - 15 per hour, paid weekly with accrued holiday pay. Additional benefits include free on-site parking. This 12-week assignment follows a Monday to Friday schedule, with working hours from 09:00 to 17:00.

Responsibilities in your new role as a Forklift Driver

  • Operate a forklift to move and manage casks and other goods, ensuring safe and efficient handling
  • Assist with the organisation and palletisation of casks for storage and shipping
  • Conduct regular inventory checks and ensure accurate stock records
  • Safely move spirits casks within the warehouse
  • Adhere to UK warehousing health & safety legislation and company policies

Your personality, experienceand qualifications

We are looking for a Forklift Driver with proven experience in a warehouse environment, particularly with dry goods and cask movement, and must hold a valid forklift licence. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook, is essential, along with a strong understanding of UK warehousing health & safety legislation. We require a diligent and reliable individual with excellent organisational skills, the ability to handle heavy goods safely, and a meticulous approach to documentation and inventory management.
