In this role you will set and operate a variety of manual and machine tools producing new and refurbished components to assist with the refurbishment and assembly of overhauled equipment in the workshop and assist with the supply of associated spare parts.

This role would suit a Machinist looking for the next step in their career with a well established industry leader who offer an extensive benefits package & great work life balance for their passionate & dedicated employees.

The role:

  • Set and operate manual lathes, horizontal borers, vertical borers & milling machines
  • Ensure all pre-safety checks are completed, and that all equipment and guarding in the Machine Shop is maintained to a high standard
  • Work with Team Leader/Manager to ensure accurate and on time completion of machining requirements
  • Completing Workshop Documentation, Quality Plans, Workshop Instruction and all relevant Inspection records to meet departmental daily/weekly work schedules

The person:

  • Time Served craftsperson in appropriate discipline
  • Extensive experience of manual lathes, horizontal borers, vertical borers & milling machines
  • Looking for a varied and interesting role that offers training, development & long term progression
