Our client, a leading global drinks manufacturer, is undertaking a 200 million+ warehouse expansion programme at its Alloa site. As part of the Global Brands Supply, Project Engineering Team, this role will support the delivery of capital projects across distillation, brewing, packaging, and maturation warehousing.

We are seeking a Senior Programme Manager with extensive experience in large-scale greenfield projects to lead and oversee the development of three major warehouse expansions.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the delivery of multi-million-pound warehouse expansion projects, ensuring successful execution within scope, budget, and timeline.

  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and financial forecasts.

  • Drive an industry-leading safety culture, working collaboratively with supply chain partners and on-site teams.

  • Proactively manage risks, issues, and dependencies that may impact project milestones, cost, and quality.

  • Coordinate multiple suppliers, consultants, and key stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery.

  • Engage and manage the project steering committee, ensuring informed decision-making and alignment with business objectives.

  • Provide regular progress reports covering project status, financial performance, and risk assessments.

  • Support carbon reduction initiatives and assess the environmental impact of the projects.

  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and meeting records.



Skills & Experience Required:

  • Proven track record in managing large-scale capital expenditure (CapEx) projects.

  • Extensive civils construction experience, particularly on greenfield expansion projects.

  • Strong knowledge of planning applications, utilities, and legalities related to large-scale construction.

  • Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.

  • Strong budget management skills with a commercially astute approach.

  • Ability to identify and mitigate complex project risks effectively.

  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.

  • Proven experience in managing large-scale CapEx programmes, with a demonstrable record of successful delivery.
