Cogent Staffing are recruiting on behalf of our client, a manufacturing company based in Huddersfield, HD5 who are looking for skilled Electrical Mechanical Engineers to join the growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a respected and established business on a permanent basis.
Shifts & salary:
- Monday to Friday
- 06:00 - 14:00, and 14:00 - 22:00 rotating weekly, with flexibility
- Starting at £35,000
Key responsibilities:
- To maintain electrical systems and premises.
- Installation of new electrical systems.
- Recommend changes and upgrades to current systems / processes.
- Set up and maintain planned maintenance schedules.
- To take part in improvement activities & training as required.
- To behave in a manner that is safe and that promotes good manufacturing practice.
- Ability to manufacture/fabricate machine parts as required.
- To understand all safety and quality rules.
- Liaising with visitors as necessary.
Key requirements:
- 18th edition certificate necessary.
- Any relevant engineering & electrical qualifications preferred.
- Must have experience maintaining electrical equipment and premises.
- Must have experience with pneumatics, hydraulics, PLC's and trouble shooting.
- Ideally has experience with power press and metal forming machinery.
- Ideally has welding experience.
- Ideally has abrasive wheel training.
