Resolve Care Services are currently recruiting an experienced Health Care Assistant for a well-established care home in Almondsbury.

The Package:

  • £22,651 based on 3 shifts 08.00 – 20.00 over 7 days
  • 36 hours per week including every other weekend & 3 scheduled bank holidays.  Paid extra for any additional bank holidays.

The Role:

  • Provide personal care and companionship to individuals in need of assistance
  • Assist with daily living activities such as grooming, bathing, dressing, and toileting
  • Prepare and serve meals according to dietary requirements
  • Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals
  • Support individuals with dementia care needs
  • Engage in behaviour management techniques when necessary
  • Assist with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and organised living environment
  • Accompany individuals to appointments or outings as required

The Candidate:

  • Experience as a carer or senior care or caregiving roles is essential
  • Ability to provide patient-centred care with empathy and understanding of a care setting.
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with individuals receiving care
  • Capability to perform heavy lifting tasks when necessary

Must be able to commute to Thornbury.  Various modes of public transport available, including a bookable bus
