Founded by two RAF veterans, we leverage our military background and technical expertise to deliver critical engineering solutions for clients with complex requirements. As we continue to experience significant growth, we are seeking an experiencedLead Recruitment 360to join our team.

Role Overview

As the lead recruiter, you will be responsible for overseeing a 360 recruitment function, managing a recruitment desk, and leading a team of recruiters. You will leverage your understanding of engineering disciplines to recruit and place top-quality candidates for our Defence, Engineering, and Technology projects. This position requires strong leadership skills, KPI-driven focus, and exceptional communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities

  1. 360 Recruitment Management. Oversee full lifecycle recruitment, from requisition to onboarding, ensuring both client and candidate satisfaction.Manage key client relationships, understanding their technical and organizational requirements.Maintain a hands-on approach by handling your own desk of engineering roles.Team Leadership & Development
  2. Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of recruiters, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.Set individual and team KPIs, regularly monitor progress, and provide constructive feedback to optimize performance.Conduct regular training sessions and share industry best practices to upskill team members. Strategic Desk Management

Prioritise open requisitions and assign tasks to recruiters based on workload, skill level, and client demands.Develop and refine recruitment strategies, sourcing channels, and talent pipelines to meet evolving business needs.Track key metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, candidate quality, placement ratios) to ensure continuous improvement.Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration. Collaborate with hiring managers, project leads, and other internal stakeholders to align recruitment efforts with business objectives

  1. Support new business opportunities by providing market insights and recruitment solutions. Process Optimization & Compliance. Continuously evaluate and improve existing recruitment processes to enhance efficiency and candidate experience.Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and client-specific security and clearance requirements.
  2. CRM & Network Building. Leverage CRM tools to manage leads, track candidate pipelines, and maintain accurate data for strategic decision-making. Build rapport with our associate network and industry professionals, ensuring clear qualifications and strong, long-term relationships.Maintain proactive communication and transparent record-keeping to foster trust and collaboration with both candidates and clients.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 360 Recruitment Background:Demonstrable success in full lifecycle recruitment, ideally within Engineering or similar technical fields.
  • Management & Leadership:Proven track record of leading a team of recruiters, setting targets, and delivering against KPIs.
  • Engineering Acumen:Solid understanding of various engineering disciplines and their key skill sets.
  • Excellent Communication:Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with both clients and candidates.
  • Organizational & Prioritization Abilities:Skilled at juggling multiple vacancies and assigning tasks effectively.
  • KPI-Driven Mindset:Ability to track, analyze, and report on recruitment metrics to inform decisions and optimize results.
  • Adaptable & Resilient:Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment, with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • CRM Experience:Familiarity with using CRM systems or applicant tracking software to streamline recruitment operations and candidate relationship management.
