Summary:
As a Commissioning Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing the entire lifecycle of systems, from planning and commissioning to testing and handover, ensuring facilities are operationally ready and meet required capabilities. Your expertise in mechanical, process, electrical, or instrumentation and control is crucial to maintain nuclear safety standards and contribute to a successful transition to operation. Key responsibilities include authoring and executing the facility commissioning strategy, producing detailed commissioning plans and schedules, and leading verification and validation of commissioning activities. You will collaborate with suppliers, site operations, and various commissioning teams, while managing and resolving test failures and overseeing commissioning work packages within complex infrastructure projects. Your role requires ensuring compliance with ONR License Condition 21 and developing a comprehensive commissioning framework. Regular progress updates and stakeholder engagement are critical aspects of this role.
