Description

  • Ensuring the availability and reliability of production equipment.
  • Performing regular maintenance checks and upgrades as required.
  • Diagnosing and rectifying all production equipment faults.
  • Supporting the Engineering and Manufacturing department in achieving departmental goals.
  • Adhering to all health and safety guidelines and procedures.
  • Providing technical expertise and training to junior staff members.
  • Implementing continuous improvement strategies to increase efficiency.
  • Reporting directly to the Engineering Manager, providing regular updates on equipment status.

Profile

A successful Maintenance Engineer should have:

  • A degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a maintenance engineering role within the retail industry.
  • Excellent technical knowledge of production equipment.
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and rectifying equipment faults.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to provide technical guidance to junior staff.
  • A commitment to maintaining health and safety standards.
