Description
- Ensuring the availability and reliability of production equipment.
- Performing regular maintenance checks and upgrades as required.
- Diagnosing and rectifying all production equipment faults.
- Supporting the Engineering and Manufacturing department in achieving departmental goals.
- Adhering to all health and safety guidelines and procedures.
- Providing technical expertise and training to junior staff members.
- Implementing continuous improvement strategies to increase efficiency.
- Reporting directly to the Engineering Manager, providing regular updates on equipment status.
Profile
A successful Maintenance Engineer should have:
- A degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in a maintenance engineering role within the retail industry.
- Excellent technical knowledge of production equipment.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and rectifying equipment faults.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to provide technical guidance to junior staff.
