Interim Head of Housing Management

Location: Hampshire (Hybrid Working)
Contract: Interim/Ongoing (Inside IR35)

Our client, a local authority in Hampshire, is seeking an Interim Head of Housing Management to provide strategic and operational leadership across housing services. This role will be pivotal in transforming housing services, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving service improvements that enhance the lives of tenants.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop housing management services, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, legislation, and government guidance.
  • Drive a customer-focused culture, ensuring services reflect the diverse needs of residents.
  • Set and monitor clear performance targets, ensuring high standards of service delivery and value for money.
  • Act as the strategic lead for tenant engagement, ensuring customer voices shape service design and improvement.
  • Lead the continuous review and enhancement of housing management services through data-driven decision-making.

About You

  • Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH) Level 5 qualification or equivalent knowledge and experience.

  • Experience in performance management, with a focus on driving efficiency and service improvements.
  • Skilled in stakeholder engagement, particularly in tenant empowerment and resident engagement.
  • Excellent leadership and management capabilities, with experience in transformational change.
  • A strong understanding of the political and local government landscape.
