Field Service Engineer

The company has been established for over 30 years and is the sole distributor in the UK and Ireland for a particular brand of flow wrappers. The company supplies wrapping equipment to a broad range of industries from food and bakery to pharmaceuticals, healthcare and medical devices. They offer a complete wrapping solution from design to installation and have a team of fully qualified engineers to maintain and service the equipment nationwide.

As the field service engineer, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, installing and commissioning complex machinery, including the training of the clients staff. Additionally, the successful candidate will execute planned maintenance visits, deliver technical support to customers, including telephone and on-site assistance.

What we would like from the Field Service Engineer:

• Minimum 3 years of engineering experience
• Experience working with capital equipment and the packaging sector would be advantageous
• Ability to travel predominantly within the UK and Ireland, however there may be the need for global travel when required
• CAD knowledge is an advantage
• Excellent communication skills and confident dealing with various levels of stakeholder from within new and existing customers
• Full UK driving licence

What we offer the Field Service Engineer:

• Salary between £35k to £42k
• 25 days annual leave Bank Holidays
• 8am to 5pm Mon to Fri
