Key Responsibilities:
- Designing detailed plans for highway carriageway and footway resurfacing projects
- Developing maintenance strategies to ensure the longevity and efficiency of the roadway infrastructure
- Collaborating with project teams to implement best practices in highway maintenance
- Conducting site inspections to assess conditions and determine appropriate maintenance measures
- Preparing and reviewing technical reports and documentation
- Liaising with stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met and issues are promptly addressed
- Ensuring all design work complies with relevant regulations and standards
- Monitoring project progress and providing regular updates to management
Job Requirements:
- Experience in highway design and maintenance
- Understanding of carriageway and footway resurfacing processes
- Proficiency in relevant design software and tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Relevant engineering degree or equivalent qualification in a related field
