Key Responsibilities:
- Designing highway drainage systems in accordance with DMRB for ETE project work
- Conducting and reviewing designs for LLFA/S278/S38/S106 projects
- Developing foul and surface water drainage solutions in line with Building Regulations and Sewers for Adoption standards
- Specialist design of small packaged sewage treatment plants, drainage fields, mounds, and outfalls
- Engaging in flood modelling, specifically pluvial and fluvial
- Preparing technical documentation and writing contracts in SHW (Highways England) and/or NBS formats
- Utilising AutoCAD, Civils 3D, or Causeway Live/PDS for design work
- Applying highway design principles using Manual for Streets and DMRB
Job Requirements:
- Extensive experience in drainage engineering
- Proficiency in highway drainage design to DMRB standards
- Experience with LLFA/S278/S38/S106 design and checks
- Strong understanding of foul and surface water drainage design
- Desirable skills in designing small sewage treatment plants and drainage fields
- Experience in flood modelling (Pluvial/Fluvial)
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civils 3D, or Causeway Live/PDS
- Experience in writing contracts in SHW or NBS formats
- Desirable highway design skills in use of Manual for Streets/DMRB
