MMP Consultancy is seeking an experienced and motivated Building Surveyor to join a team within a Housing Association to oversee external wall/fabric planned programmes across Wiltshire and Hampshire.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional with strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills to contribute to 1m+ programmes in a dynamic, rewarding environment. This is a permanent role with a salary of 40,482 per annum.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the delivery of external wall/fabric planned programmes across multiple sites.
- Apply your strong understanding of building fabric and components to ensure high-quality work and compliance.
- Provide technical expertise in the solution and remedy of building defects.
- Write detailed and accurate specifications for works to be undertaken.
- Manage contracts effectively, including KPI monitoring, monthly meetings, and processing valuations.
- Ensure Health & Safety compliance and oversee safe working practices.
Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience as a Building Surveyor, ideally with a focus on external wall/fabric programmes.
- Strong technical knowledge of building components and construction practices.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with a solution-focused approach.
- Experience in specification writing and contract management.
- Sound knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and practices.
