Job Purpose:

To deliver safeguarding training packages to a range of audiences as required.

To provide learning, development, and consultancy actions to meet the organisation's needs and to help ensure the County Council has a skilled and motivated workforce.

Main Responsibilities:

Help us to deliver Safeguarding training across Hampshire

Children's Services Learning and Development Team is currently recruiting casual employees to support in the delivery of specific areas of work within the Children Services Department.

As a Safeguarding Facilitator you will be delivering a variety of learning events in relation to safeguarding including, Whole School, Designated Safeguarding Lead and Early Years Safeguarding and Passenger Assistance Safeguarding delivery. You will require prior experience of safeguarding children and young people, for example, as a Social Care Practitioner, or working in Education and / or Early Years settings. You will need to have enthusiasm and passion for this critical area of work.

These posts require a high level of flexibility as involves working across the whole of Hampshire you also need to be able to drive to locations. Delivery will be both face to face and on MS Teams.

To facilitate delivery, you will need to have your own device capable of delivering training over MS Teams. Training and support will be provided if needed.
