About the Role:

As a General Teaching Assistant, you will provide support to students aged 11-16 with a range of learning needs. Working alongside teachers, you will assist in creating an engaging and supportive environment that helps students achieve their full potential. You’ll be involved in delivering both one-on-one and small group support, and will work closely with the school's Inclusion and Learning Support teams to assist in tailored interventions and activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in providing academic support to students aged 11-16, focusing on those who need extra help with their learning.
  • Support one-on-one and small group interventions to help students grasp key concepts and build their confidence.
  • Work with teachers to ensure students are fully engaged in lessons and making academic progress.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, helping to create a motivating and inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other support staff to meet the individual needs of students.
  • Contribute to the school’s approach to supporting students’ overall development, ensuring their success in the classroom.
