Our client is currently seeking an experienced and highly motivated Associate Electrical Engineer to join their dynamic team in the Building Services sector, serving clients from the Southampton and Winchester offices. This senior position is equivalent to a Principal level role at other consultancies and offers a unique opportunity to lead projects and teams in a client-focused environment.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a primary client liaison, building strong relationships and ensuring successful project outcomes.
  • Lead and manage a team of electrical engineers, providing direction and support across a diverse portfolio.
  • Oversee and drive the electrical design for projects in various domains (excluding residential), including commercial, healthcare, education, and industrial sectors.
  • Apply your technical expertise to develop innovative, sustainable, and cost-effective solutions for clients.
  • Ensure projects adhere to industry standards and regulations, delivering on time and within budget.


Job Requirements:

  • Experience in the Building Services industry, with a focus on electrical engineering design.
  • Chartered Engineer status.
  • Proven ability to lead electrical design teams and manage project deliverables.
  • Demonstrated client-facing skills, with a successful track record of managing stakeholder relationships.
