As part of our growth, we're looking for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join the marine division.

The Role
You will lead the design and development of complex hybrid systems, working with mechanical and control system engineers on large-scale land and marine projects. You'll also mentor junior engineers, driving improvements and technical excellence within the team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop hybrid systems, using Danfoss drive technology.
  • Manage large projects across land and marine sectors.
  • Collaborate with engineers to deliver advanced solutions.
  • Occasionally travel within the UK and Europe for system troubleshooting and commissioning.
  • Provide mentorship to junior engineers.

Requirements

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's or PhD is a plus).
  • Strong experience in electrical design, hybrid systems, and marine/yachting systems.
  • Proficient in E-Plan (AutoCAD is beneficial).
  • Experience with control panels, switchgear, and battery systems (Apply online only)V).
