Our client is an established firm of Wealth Planners based in Hampshire who require a qualified Financial Planner.

The role is flexible in terms of home based etc.

Candidates who have a client following will be considered.

The purpose of this role is to assist the Managing Director with the development, maintenance and growth of the Company’s financial planning proposition.

As such, the successful candidate will have a strong financial planning background, and will be experienced in marketing, engaging and managing private client financial planning, in a risk-controlled manner. They will particularly have experience of cashflow modelling, UK taxation and tax mitigation strategies, retirement planning, protection and investments.

The role is flexible and the may be either full-time or part-time, and flexibility is available for the successful candidate to work primarily, or partially, from home. All required IT hardware, support and professional development will be provided.

Specific responsibilities

  • Provision of advice and services to existing and prospective clients in accordance with the Company’s business plan/supervisor’s guidance.
  • Undertaking appropriate research to assist the Company in developing its financial planning proposition.
  • Ensuring sufficient client information is obtained to satisfy KYC obligations, and appropriately analyse all information gathered.
  • Undertaking satisfactory product and market research.
  • Ensuring suitable recommendations are made, and that all supporting documentation is maintained.
  • Maintaining a current Statement of Professional Standing (SPS) at all times.
  • Attaining and maintaining a level of competence as required by the Company, and that relevant CPD is maintained and recorded accurately.
