Join a fast-growing, family-run contractor leading the way in rail, forestry, and environmental services. This fast-growing company is expanding its in-house environmental team and looking for a passionate Senior Ecologist to help drive their success.

In this full-time, permanent role, you'll contribute to the delivery of ecological services across a range of exciting projects. You will conduct Ecological Site Surveys, produce Preliminary Ecological Assessments, and assist in Ecological Impact and Habitat Regulation Assessments. Additionally, you'll lead and assist in Protected Species Surveys and play an active role in data analysis, report writing, and designing mitigation measures.

Role Requirements:

  • Protected Species Licence(s)
  • Knowledge of UK protected species and relevant legislation
  • Proficiency with GIS or mapping software
  • Excellent organisational, analytical, and report-writing skills
  • Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel across the southern region
  • Project management experience
