Responsibilities and Tasks

As a Marketing Assistant, you'll be a key player in supporting the marketing efforts across all the brands. From engaging social media content creation to database management, your role will keep you on your toes with a variety of exciting challenges. You'll also play a pivotal role in organising unforgettable events and exhibitions. If you're passionate about adventure and eager to gain hands-on marketing experience, this is the role for you!

Key Responsibilities

  • Event & Exhibition Support: Assist in the organisation of both virtual and in-person events, exhibitions, and trade shows (with potential travel!).
  • Brochure Management: Handle brochure requests and manage all postal logistics efficiently.
  • Database Management: Keep our client database up-to-date and accurate with new entries and updates.
  • Social Media Content Creation: Help craft captivating social media content that resonates with the audience.
  • Imagery Sourcing: Collaborate with the team to find and curate the best imagery for our campaigns.
  • Brand Item Coordination: Assist in the coordination and management of branded items.
  • General Administration: Provide support with day-to-day administration tasks, such as formatting client documentation.
  • Cross-Team Support: Be a reliable resource for the marketing team and other departments as needed, contributing to a range of projects and initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience

We're seeking a confident, motivated, and highly organised team player! While full training is provided, here's what will set you apart:

  • Previous experience in a similar Marketing administration role
  • Experience coordinating events is a plus
  • Strong spelling and grammar skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
  • Exceptional organisational and teamwork skills
  • Adaptability and a willingness to take on new challenges
  • A genuine interest in adventure travel and marketing

This is a fantastic opportunity where you will learn and embark on a fabulous career adventure. This is an office based permanent role. There will be an opportunity to work from home a couple of days a week although depending on business needs this may fluctuate. You will also need your own transport as this location is in a semi-rural location. Hours- 9am to 6pm Monday to Friday
