Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Biomedical Field Service Engineer to join our team in Hampshire. The role involves providing on-site technical support for biomedical equipment, including installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair. This is a customer-facing role requiring excellent communication and technical skills to ensure healthcare facilities operate efficiently and safely with reliable medical equipment. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of biomedical systems and be comfortable traveling across Hampshire to deliver expert service.

Key Responsibilities:

- Install, calibrate, maintain, and repair a wide range of biomedical equipment, including life support systems, diagnostic devices, and patient monitoring systems.
- Conduct regular preventive maintenance to ensure medical devices are operating within manufacturer specifications and in compliance with healthcare standards.
- Diagnose technical issues and faults on-site, providing prompt repairs to minimize equipment downtime.
- Educate healthcare professionals on the safe operation and basic maintenance of biomedical devices.
- Keep detailed service records, including maintenance logs, repair reports, and parts inventory.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, such as those from the MHRA (Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency) and adhere to safety protocols.
- Maintain strong relationships with healthcare providers by offering high-quality, responsive service and support.
- Stay up-to-date on advancements in biomedical equipment and industry standards to provide the best technical support.
- Travel regularly within Hampshire to service healthcare facilities, ensuring minimal disruption to hospital or clinic operations.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a biomedical field service engineering role, preferably within the healthcare sector.
- Strong technical expertise in the maintenance and repair of biomedical equipment.
- Familiarity with medical device regulatory standards, including ISO 13485 and NHS guidelines.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues quickly and efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to train and support healthcare professionals.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel throughout Hampshire.
