Pod Talent is excited to partner up with a leading UK company providing supply chain and manufacturing solutions for high-tech industries who is looking for a Supply/Production Planner to join their team in Hampshire for 6 months initially.

In this role, you will be managing production planning, ensuring material availability, and optimising supply chain processes.

In this role...
You will:

  • Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer demand while ensuring optimal inventory levels
  • Utilise Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems to manage inventory levels, forecasts, and production schedules
  • Identify and mitigate risks in the supply chain to prevent production delays by analysing supply chain data to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings
  • Manage and maintain Bills of Materials (BOM) to ensure accuracy and alignment with production requirements

About you…

  • Strong experience in supply planning, production planning, or materials management in a manufacturing environment
  • Proficient in utilising MRP/ERP systems with extensive experience managing Bills of Materials (BOMs)
  • Background in engineering, industrial components, or related sectors
  • Exceptional ability to navigate complex challenges in dynamic, fast-paced settings
  • Strong communication and influencing skills to work effectively across departments
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organisational and time management capabilities
