Want to be more than a number?

Looking to join a farm that's serious about sustainable growing, with a solid team and strong future?

This is a new role for the business, which means you'll get a chance to make your mark.

What's the Job?

You'll be part of a team growing across 80Ha. Their main crop is soft fruit, but they've diversified into vineyards and asparagus, too.

The business has grown, and the current team need someone to join to manage the workload. You'll be reporting to the Technical Director, and he's ready to support you in getting up to speed.

No two days will be the same. You'll be working across the whole growing process and playing an active role in keeping things running at a high standard.

Picture this:

Monday: You're out crop-walking, monitoring for pests and diseases and creating a control programme.

Tuesday: The biological programme has been created. You're now spending the day liaising with suppliers to order what's needed.

Wednesday: You're spending the day with the irrigation team, making sure they understand what needs to be done.

Thursday: You're working with the senior leadership team on forecasting, harvest plans, and future crop plans.

Friday: You're back out in the field, crop walking, monitoring progress and training the team.

You'll be overseeing teams across irrigation, glasshouse, spraying and biologicals. The core team is 15, going up at peak.

About you

You've already had hands-on experience with commercial soft fruit production.

You might be at a similar level looking for a new environment, or you might be ready to take a step up in your career. Either way, we want to hear from you.

You'll be a strong communicator - happy to manage and develop a team, work with suppliers and the wider senior leadership team.

Attention to detail will come naturally to you. You'll be able to spot minor changes in crop quality and know how to work in a proactive way.
